Loading Rheostats is very  useful for Engineering Laboratories, Electrical Test Houses  and Industries. It is a very fine testing Gadget for the manufacturers of Power Generators Transformers, Battery Charges and Meters. It can advantageously be used for regulating current and adjusting voltage.

Constructional Data :-

* Eureka Wire ( Nickle-Copper Alloy) havingvery low temperature coefficient is wound on special non-magnetic pipes in grooves. The groove or space winding allows maximum Heat Dissipation.
* The Resistances are mounted in Vertical Array in a box made of sturdyangle Iron frame and perforated metal sheet, providing free cross ventilation. The mounting system and all sides ventilation allows efficient cooling to the unit.
* The live portion of the unit is completely insulated from the body. The whole is mounted on four castor wheels fro easy transportation from one place to another in the Laboratory.
* A bakelite panel with controlling switches, fuses and terminals for connections is fitted on the front side of the box.
* The box is painted with non-corrosive, heat resistant paint.

  Loading Rheostats, Single Phase

These Loading Rheostats are fitted with heavy duty Porcellain based tumblar switches for having the load in equal steps. A control switch with fuses and also two insulated terminals are provided for connections. Voltage in all the cases, 265 Volts.A.C.(At 220 Volts AC the prices will be the same)

In addition to the specifications described three phase loading rheostats are provided with three phase on/off Rotary switches of 10 Amps for having the load in equal steps. A control switch and three insulated terminals are provided for 3 phase connections. A fourth common terminal is also brought out of use the unit as a single phase loading rheostat.

Three Phase loading Rheostats can be fabricated with arrangement to use them in Star or Delta Position as desired.

* In addition to the switches all the three phases of the Loading Rheostats upto 15 K.W. can be provided with variable units to have very fine regulations. With this arrangement equal and exact load can be adjusted in all the three phases. Prices on enquiry.

  INDUCTIVE LOADS CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE

Nucon Single & Three Phase Inductive Loads are very useful for Electrical Engineering Labs. Electrical Test Houses and Industries.

MAIN FEATURES

The Coils are wound on Fiber Bobbins with best quality Super Enamled Copper Wire. The Core is hot rolled steel, Sillicon Coated having low hysterisis & low eddy current losses. One core is tightly fixed into the lower side of the Coil and the second core slides in the remaining portion of the coil through the bobbin, making close Magnetic circuit. The core sliding system is provided with a Fine Threaded Steel Rod, moving in a Gun Metal Block to give very fine regulations. The block is fitted to the sliding core and a Hand Wheel is fitted to the rod (Lead Screw) to move the core up and down inside the Magnetic Coil to give very fine variation of Current. The unit works on AIR GAP PRINCIPAL. With increase of the air gap the current decreases. The cores are tightly bound to reduce the resonance when core slides inside the the Magnetic Coil & current is maximum.

This whole is fitted in a metal box, provided with four Castor Wheels to make it a trolly. Finished in Duco Paint the box is provided with bakelite Panel, fitted with non-flying type insulated brass terminals.
 

NUCON INDUCTIVE LOAD single phase 50 Hz. 220/230 Volts. specifications as mentioned above. Two Terminals are provided on the panel Continuously variable.

Six Non Flying Type Insulated Brass Bakelite Moduled Terminals are fitted on the panel to use
the unit as explained below :

i) In Star for 400/415 V. 3 Phase line System.
ii) The Delta for 230/240V. 3 Phase Line System.
iii) The three Inductive Coils can be connected in series.

The Terminals are marked and complete operating instructions are engraved on the panel.The Inductive Load are manufactured in the following ranges.
